Most patients get all their care at Best Dental without needing a specialist. We only refer when a case has complexity that needs extra training and special tools — like hard wisdom teeth, tough root canals, advanced gum surgery, or full braces or Invisalign.
Do I have to use the specialists you recommend?▾
No. While we have personally checked these partners and trust them with our own families, you are always free to pick any specialist you want. If you already see a specialist or your insurance needs a specific provider, we are happy to coordinate with them too.
Does my insurance cover specialist visits?▾
Most dental insurance plans cover specialist work at the same level as general dentistry. Our team will help check your coverage before your referral. The specialist's office will also confirm your benefits before any work starts. We want you to know the full cost before anything begins.
Will I have to go back and forth between offices?▾
We keep this as small as we can. Most referrals only need one or a few visits to the specialist. After that, you come back to Best Dental for all follow-up. For braces, you will see the orthodontist often during active care — but your cleanings, check-ups, and other dental work stay with us.
