For your first visit, please bring a valid photo ID and your dental insurance card (if applicable). New patients can complete all intake paperwork online before arriving — a link is sent with your booking confirmation, so you can skip the clipboard at check-in. If you have recent dental X-rays from a previous provider, bringing those is helpful but not required, as we take our own digital X-rays and panoramic imaging on-site.
Yes. We reserve same-day appointment slots for dental emergencies — broken teeth, severe toothaches, lost fillings or crowns, dental abscesses, and similar urgent situations. Call us at (281) 215-3065 as early in the day as possible. After hours, our answering service will connect you with our on-call dentist for emergency guidance. For routine appointments, same-day availability depends on our schedule — the online booking system will show you the earliest available slot.

Yes — Best Dental accepts workers' compensation dental cases for employees who have suffered a dental injury on the job. We work directly with WC carriers and claims adjusters to handle authorization requests and billing on your behalf — you focus on recovery, we handle the paperwork. Same-day emergency appointments are available for acute workplace injuries. You'll need your WC claim number and employer information, but if you're in pain, call us first and we'll sort the paperwork as we go.

Best Dental is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Online booking is available 24/7 — you can schedule an appointment any time at richmondtxdentists.com. For after-hours dental emergencies, call (281) 215-3065 and our answering service will connect you with our on-call dentist.
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancel with 24+ hours notice and your deposit is refunded in full. Cancel within 24 hours and your deposit is forfeited. If you miss your appointment without contacting us, your deposit is forfeited and a $50 no-show fee applies. All reusable instruments go through our full sterilization protocol — cleaned, bagged, and run through an autoclave that reaches temperatures high enough to eliminate all bacteria, viruses, and spores. Single-use items are disposed of after every patient. Treatment rooms are disinfected between each appointment with hospital-grade surface disinfectants. We follow all OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines throughout the practice.
Good news — we use digital impressions at Best Dental, which means no trays, no putty, and no gagging. A small intraoral scanner captures a precise 3D model of your teeth in just a few minutes. Digital impressions are more accurate than traditional putty, send directly to the dental lab without risk of distortion, and are significantly more comfortable — especially if you have a sensitive gag reflex.
Yes — an oral cancer screening is included at every routine exam at no extra cost. The exam takes about two minutes and involves a visual and tactile check of the lips, cheeks, tongue, floor of the mouth, palate, and throat for any unusual lesions, patches, or tissue changes. Oral cancer caught early has a survival rate above 84% — caught late, that drops below 30%. It's one of the most important two minutes of your checkup.
Yes — we offer multiple sedation options for patients with dental anxiety or those undergoing longer procedures. These include nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for mild relaxation, oral sedation for moderate anxiety, and IV sedation administered by Dr. Sonny Naderi for deeper sedation during surgical procedures.
