⏱ 30 to 45 min per archIf you choose a retainer, custom impressions are taken and your retainer can often be fitted the same day. Wear instructions are reviewed. Without a retainer, teeth begin shifting back within weeks. With one, you protect the result of all those months in braces.

What happens without a retainer:
A custom retainer at $250 per arch ($500 for both arches) is significantly cheaper than starting orthodontic treatment over. We strongly recommend retainers but the choice is yours. If you decide against them, we will document that you understood the trade-off.
