What to Expect on Your First Visit
Your first appointment at Best Dental is designed to be thorough, unhurried, and informative — not rushed.
New patient forms can be completed online before your visit, saving time and letting you fill them out at your own pace. Bring your insurance card and a list of any current medications.
We start by listening. Dr. Naderi or a team member will ask about your dental history, any concerns or symptoms you have, what you're hoping to achieve, and any anxiety or past experiences that are relevant. This conversation shapes the entire appointment.
A full comprehensive exam includes digital X-rays, periodontal charting (gum health assessment), cavity screening, bite evaluation, oral cancer screening, and a review of existing dental work. We document everything so future visits can track changes over time.
If your appointment includes a cleaning, our hygienist performs a professional scaling and polish, removing buildup that regular brushing and flossing can't reach. For patients with signs of gum disease, a deeper cleaning may be recommended.
Dr. Naderi walks you through findings, explains any issues discovered, and presents treatment options with clear explanations of what each involves and costs. Nothing is scheduled without your understanding and agreement — you leave with a plan, not a surprise bill.
